He’s owning his part too—calling the record a straight-up accountability session, but never sacrificing the bounce. To mark the occasion, he’s packing for a Japan tour kicking off this month, with a SXSW 2026 slot already locked.
Standout “Under My Spell” remains the perfect entry point—co-produced alongside Alhassan Sakho, it glides on laid-back funk rhythm, rubbery bass, and swirling keys that feel warm until the menace creeps in. Solarrio shared: “This song is written from the perspective of the drug, or fame itself, speaking to the person who’s become addicted. It’s about obsession, dependency, and how something seductive can slowly take control of your life. I wanted it to feel alluring and dangerous at the same time, like a toxic relationship you can’t walk away from.”
