A well-known secret in the wave music community, Lost Years is surfacing once more to provide a remix for Saint Mars’ ‘Ocean Blues’. The single, released via Grá Mór Phonic Records, has received two other remixes – from Droid Bishop and Juche. The two remixes have already collected over 30 000 plays on Spotify alone, with the original single sitting at well over 200 000 plays streams.

Marc Darcange, head honcho of Saint Mars, tells us about the remix: “Ocean Blues can be considered as the foundation stone of the Saint Mars universe and anti-bullying message. I felt immediately connected with the Lost Years rework since it captures all the original essence of the track, giving it new colors evocative of some teen movies of the 80’s. It’s sweet, soft, delicate and strongly emotional at the same time”

Saint Mars hold a strong anti-bullying stance, publically encouraging their fans to put away their fears of judgement and to begin to show more kindness to each other on a daily basis. Tryzdin, lead singer of the band, has previously been a victim of bullying himself. However, the young star channelled this difficult experience into his creativity, fuelling a passion to improve the world and those within it.
