Russian music producer Melldu has always swayed away from the popular music genres and instead creates music for all, but it is not made for all. One must absorb & study Melldu’s sound and artistry to find well-crafted soundwaves that touch the soul, inspiring one to reach for unimaginable heights & introspection. Releasing his single ‘Mute Theatre’ last month, the producer will share his album of the same title via Maida Maori tomorrow.

Pre-save Melldu’s Mute Theatre LP

In conversation with Chill Music (read interview), the producer was asked about what he aims to achieve with his sound. He responded as follows: “I think there are no exact answers here. I transfer emotions and meaning to my music from my own life, my own experience. If the listener is on the same mental wavelength as me, they will always understand my message, and they will also feel the emotions that I’ve put into the music.”

Melldu, inspired by various alternative electronic musicians marches to the sound of his own unique melting pot of influences. That to us is the definition of a true artist, not afraid to stand out from what is expected and instead project & embrace their own feelings into their art – Melldu does just that.
