Djrum’s DJ-Kicks arrives on !K7 this October 16, marking another rapid chapter in the British producer’s evolving discography.
Since the release of Meaning’s Edge in late 2024, Djrum has maintained a restless pace, delivering Under Tangled Silence, a string of remixes, and the I Wander EP just last month. The forthcoming mix spans 33 tracks, featuring exclusives from Skee Mask and Clark, alongside four new originals from Djrum himself. Known for bridging the immediacy of club music with the depth of long-form composition, Djrum finds in the DJ-Kicks series a platform that puts this duality on full display.
The ‘Psychic Video’ is the most recent track that Djrum has included in his forthcoming DJ-Kicks mix and lasts for about six and a half minutes, appearing in the middle of the set right after Clark‘s exclusive. The song is continuously in motion, its structure changing restlessly as the vocals pass quickly through fragments of the words “psychic”, “video” and “image”, drifting throughout the mix.
