Ever have those quiet moments in the day where you feel like the world has calmed down even if it’s just for a second? You don’t hear a siren or someone’s neighbour having a loud and annoying chat outside the front of your house. You take a deep breath and soak up the peace you are feeling. You are lucky if you have these peaceful moments present in your life, for some it may be harder due to their environment or living arrangements to find that yourself in. Mattia Cupelli’s latest song ‘CHANT’ would be the perfect track to listen to when you want to switch off external noises that disturb your focus.

The Italian composer is known to produce otherworldly music that can disturb with its darker influences; like evil nymphs in his previous single releases ‘EGERIA’ and ghost towns in his track ‘MONOLITH’. Both a thrilling listen, ‘CHANT’ breaks from the mould of sinister worlds. Instead one can find it a peaceful listen and somewhat meditative. Perfect for days when you need to set your focus on things that require high concentration.

‘CHANT’, ‘EGERIA’ and ‘MONOLITH’ are several of many other tracks to feature on Cupelli’s anticipated album RUINS which is set for official release on the 2nd of July via MC Records. ‘CHANT’ is an undeniable leap from its predecessor’s, could we be seeing an evolution of soundwaves from the composer?

‘CHANT’ previously featured on Synthian.
