French songwriter Ren Toner from the cold wave band Divine Shade, has used this pandemic to turn his creativity into new possibilities. He has embarked on the journey of creating a solo electronic music project, kicking it off with a video live session.
The first track to be unveiled in the project is “This love is a weakness” featuring Shan Moue.
The track was mastered by Antoine Chabert, a 3 times Grammy Award winner who also worked with Daft Punk on Random Access Memories.
With delightfully melancholic lyrics: “Are you fleeing loneliness ? / Would you crawl to feel it less ?/ Your need of eternal bond / Feels filled because you are conned”, wouldn’t you want to absorb yourself in this gothic work?
