Live electronic duo KIDSØ have just released their music video for ‘Sparkle’. The track was released at the beginning of October with The Mountain Howl following shortly with a remix which was premiered on Sons Of Marketing. All of these releases foretell the coming of KIDSØ’s album, Childhood which will be released in March 2020.
The video was directed by Lars Schmidt, and casts spells upon the audience. Embracing the post-apocalyptic with gas masks and abandoned houses, the bassline brings life into the track and prevents the stillness of the video from taking over.
“We see ‘Sparkle’ like a rollercoaster between a drifting bass and drum lines, and fragile vocals and piano elements. This contradiction is what makes the track so unique for us and why we chose this track as the very first single of our album.”
