Electronic music virtuoso Sasha Carassi dropped his remix of Harry Kaze’s single ‘On My Lips’ on 15 November via Truesoul/Drumcode Records. In the remix, Sasha makes use of his trademark drum kit crafting a powerhouse offering which modifies the original into retro 80s, new-wave hit.

Sasha is no stranger to the music industry, in fact he’s quite the opposite. The Italian’s music career began at 15-years-old, and he’s successfully built a distinguished career spanning decades. Sasha remains at the forefront of electronic music globally, with his own label ILINX, and releases on the likes of Diynamic and Bedrock to name a few. Just last year alone, Sasha performed at festivals in Mexico, Italy, Canada and Amnesia, Ibiza. Harry Kaze is a 26-year-old French DJ and producer with roots in house music. His previous releases have received support from the likes of Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 as well as releases on Three Six Zero and Realm Records.
Sasha’s reimagining of the original is flawless, as he delicately shapes it into an offering filled with comfort and warmth. The remix evokes a sense of nostalgia and mysticism as Sasha pushes the limit in a precise and wholehearted manner.
Sasha Carassi shares: “When I received the demo of ‘On My Lips’ by Harry Kaze, I was struck at first listening: I imagined a better reality in an utopian world, where the sincerity of the emotions and the taste for a sophisticated design are rediscovered. Energetic beat, gentle arpeggio and catchy vocals are just three of the elements perfectly wedged together. My vision is very faithful to the original one, but enhanced by my signature drum kit. This version highlights a climax in the break, which leaves room to a more essential design during the whole draft.”
