warner case gives Mouth Water’s ‘Rise’ an underground electronic makeover

NYC-based producer and DJ warner case has put a late-night spin on Mouth Water’s emotive single ‘Rise’, delivering a magnetic new remix via Through The Void Records. Released on September 12, 2025, the track marks a creative high for both artists, blending introspective songwriting with club-driven energy. Known for his genre-crossing sets and sleek productions, warner case continues to make waves in the global electronic scene, with millions of streams and a reputation for pushing boundaries.

‘Rise (warner case Remix)’ is available now on all platforms via Through The Void Records, the newly launched label co-founded by Lawrence Fancelli and managed by Alessandra Pellegrineschi. The label blends Italian creativity with global electronic sounds, aiming to curate music with both emotional and artistic impact.

Mouth Water, the Italo-American project led by Lawrence Fancelli, is known for its elegant fusion of house, indie, and nostalgic electro-pop. Based between Italy and the U.S., his work has earned praise for its emotional depth and refined production. After performances at Primavera Sound 2024 and live appearances with Röyksopp and Sophie and the Giants, he’s established himself as a forward-thinking voice in the indie-electronic space.

“I wrote this song thinking about the friends I shared so much with in the past who are no longer part of my daily life,” says Mouth Water, speaking on the original track. “It’s a gesture of hope—because sometimes, even after long silences, we can come back together and create something meaningful again.”

The Rise (warner case Remix)’ reshapes the track’s heartfelt origins into a cinematic dancefloor cut. With hypnotic synths, layered percussion, and bloghaus-era textures, warner case channels the raw energy of early indie dance movements while staying true to the emotional tone of the original. It’s a remix that bridges introspection and movement, tailor-made for late sets and deeply moving personal moments.

“Making this remix brought me back to late 2000s blog haus, indie sleaze, and all the raw brilliance of that era,” remarks warner case. “Dance music was grassroots and hungry… hopefully my remix does it justice.”
