Eluize drops her third album Believe today. The Adelaide-born, Berlin-based producer, vocalist and live act has spent more than a decade sharpening her craft across house and techno circles, turning out EPs and full-lengths that showcase sharp songwriting, precise arrangement and a stage presence that pulls crowds worldwide. Her 2020 record Gone marked a clear step forward in blending those skills into something fully formed. This new project arrives as another chapter in that steady build.
The album drifts between introspective moments and outward connections, blending ethereal vocals with punchy drums, sharp synths, vibrant leads, and shimmering ambient textures. Early tracks use almost-spoken melodies to explore themes of mistrust, escape, and longing for connection. The mood brightens with ‘Light‘, conjuring the gentle promise of dawn and a gradual resurgence of hope. From there, the pulse quickens on ‘Believe‘ and ‘Captive‘, transforming rhythm into a powerful act of defiance. Tracks such as ‘Impatience‘ and ‘Serendipity‘ let the album exhale, creating moments of calm amid the energy, while ‘RNA‘ beckons self actualization. Eluize crafted these songs during the pandemic in her Kreuzberg studio, pregnant with her second son, and completed them after relocating her family across continents, closing a significant chapter in her life.
Eluize had this to say: “I wrote “Believe” in the height of the pandemic, while pregnant with my second son, in my studio in Kreuzberg. I would walk the quarter block through the snow, to a musty, brick basement, to lose myself in sound, to reflect and imagine what would become of it all. I finished the music as I moved my family across the globe, and without realising it, through the ending of an immensely pivotal chapter of a life. Then it sat, for years, stuck.
