Electronic act under:tones dropped their new single ‘Crossroads’ on September 26, 2025, through Through The Void Records. This release builds directly on their debut track ‘Dreaming (Wide Awake)’, which not only introduced the project but also kicked off the label’s operations. As the second entry in their upcoming album Encounters, it pulls from production work scattered across Los Angeles, Florence, and London. The duo, made up of Alex Neri from Planet Funk and producer Matteo Zarcone, focuses on creating electronic pieces that act like quick sonic stories, each one zeroing in on moments of change and connection. Their international setup has helped them carve out a spot in the dance music world, blending tight craftsmanship with sounds that hit both club crowds and solo listeners hard.

The instrumental ‘Crossroads’ centers on bright pads and compact percussion that lead into rising melodic lines, with a central synth guiding the progression through buildup phases and drop moments. It channels the drive of electronic music by focusing on rhythm control and melodic expansion, reflecting the pull of a morning session or the momentum in an open venue.

Founded by Lawrence Fancelli and managed by Alessandra Pellegrineschi, Through The Void Records emphasizes artist growth across borders, bridging Italian roots with U.S. reach. Fancelli notes the label’s focus on vision and independence, while Neri and Zarcone highlight its support for genuine expression in their work.

under:tones shared: “With ‘Crossroads’ we wanted to capture that exact moment when anticipation and release meet on the dancefloor. It is about energy, light, and the feeling of being connected to something bigger than yourself, whether at sunrise, in front of a massive crowd, or lost in your own headphones.
