Montreal-based synth electronic enthusiast Radiant Baby a.k.a. Felix Mongeon has shared that he will be releasing his most personal work to date tomorrow – the album Pantomime via Lisbon Lux. The album artwork is inspired by the 1900s Pierrot entertainer, who is usually dressed and painted as a sad clown. We are delighted to present Radiant Baby’s new track ‘Talkback’ which features on the forthcoming album. This track breaks from the vocal aspect of Radiant Baby’s usual work with its minimal electronic charm. Inspired by iconic acts like David Bowie and Blondie, Felix creates magical synthpop with mystical qualities like his idols.

Radiant Baby shares: “ When the first lockdown hit in March 2020, I had already created demos for most of the songs that ended up on the album, and a portion of the recording was already completed as well. The pandemic slowed down the recording and production of the album and helped me take my time and gain some perspective on the tracks. I think this perspective really helped me push the collaborative process further on this album and rework songs until I was really happy with them. Musical collaborations also provided some relief from isolation during lockdowns.”
