Music is the best medicine and producer Jay Wud projects this attitude with his latest album Dark Cinema – released for public consumption just a few days ago. This is the second release for the producer this year, the first being his EP, Nabad which awoke an experimental side in Jay Wud, that is evident in this latest release.
The producer even called this album his saving grace on his socials, “Despite all the madness, we will never forget 2020, and the only thing that kept me going throughout this period was music. ‘Dark Cinema’ is my sonic journal of 2020. I produced, mixed and mastered the entire record in my home studio.”
Jay Wud is a rebellious and bold talent that does not feel alarmed by an unexpected change in direction. This makes listening to his latest releases more exciting as one is not too sure as to what to expect really.
