Odyssette is a project rooted in retro-futurism, influenced by cinema, technology and space. Warm analog synths, dynamic beats and layered melodies that transport you into a world outside of existence anywhere but your imagination. It is a blueprint of a synthwave journey layered in nostalgia and electric feelings.
“We instantly loved the original which isn’t always a good thing when remixing because we are afraid of destroying something beautiful. Luckily we found an approach that worked for us. The vocals gave the perfect balance of storytelling but leaving enough space for our own interpretation.I had read a newspaper article a couple of days before hearing Endless Borders about long-distance relationships in the times of Covid so when I heard the line “But until I have a chance to hold you I’ll hold on” it reminded me of this.” – Diskret
