‘Hyperdrive’ overflows with a raw energy that is magnified by a mid-tempo bass beat, which patiently supports the synths with a magnetic force that renders the song infectious and seductive. At the culminating climax of the track, two bass beats that set each other off are observed in a ferocious explosion of sonic ecstasy, ultimately ushering the track into the library of wave music’s cult classics.
Deadcrow tells us about what he wanted as a final product for ‘Hyperdrive’: “The goal was to make a riddim track but with wave sound design, and of course a nod to hardstyle in the build”.
