Juche gives Tee Dee Dees ‘War’ a synthwave makeover

Juche has created a remix for Tee Dee Dees ‘War’ adding a synthwave take to the original track.

The Spanish wave-aficionado is currently based in Lausanne, Switzerland. His work has been been compared to the stylings of artists such as Øfdream, CHVRN, and barnacle boi, but the current remix is definitely characterised by his own distinct style.

Highlighting Ori Mark’s vocals from the original track, he has taken the sound to new heights adding electronic layers and vintage embellishments. “When I listened to the original song for the very first time, I was convinced that (Tee Dee Dees’) voice was very versatile.” he says.

Juche’s remix of ‘War’ seems to hit all the right notes, where he skillfully moulds the original into creations of his own, while still preserving some of the songs’ initial ideas. “I could have made a different sound, but I thought that making some kind of ”Pop” music and ”Wave” would be super appropriate. I tried a similar approach, mixing past & contemporary sounds, adding that Juche dreamy and nostalgic touch” he adds
