Vincenzo Ramaglia has just released Son Lux’s remix of his original song La parole 7’ on the 4th of November via PEM Records. The gifted threesome in Son Lux dips heavily into experimentalism, and this has consistently influenced their musical sound. The group’s music is likened to Apparat and Brian Eno to mention a few.

Stream / Download: ‘La parole 7 (Son Lux Remix)’

Son Lux discuss the conceptual elements of the new single: “starting at the end of the original and ending at its beginning, our remix of Vincenzo Ramaglia and Laure Le Prunenec’s ‘La parole 7’ functions as both a continuation and a left turn. We selectively followed sonic elements and motifs on a hallucinatory journey towards annihilation and rebirth.”

The track is comparable to an advanced lesson in the auditory sense. This advanced lesson is located in the progressive path of the sound of the song, and it is evident that the remix has no definite graduation to a concluding end. The end comes similarly to the beginning. Without an indication of its starting point, the ending is not explicit, and it is tied to the beginning.
